Voice & Dialect Coach and Speech & Language Therapist

About Robyn

Robyn is a highly trained voice coach with a unique blend of expertise in performance, speech therapy, and inclusive vocal practice. She holds an MFA in Professional Voice Studies from the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, where her research focused on neuro-affirming vocal pedagogy. Robyn also has a first-class degree in Speech and Language Therapy and brings over 10 years of experience supporting individuals with their communication skills. This dual background allows her to approach voice coaching with both creative insight and clinical understanding.

Having originally trained as an actor, Robyn’s work is grounded in performance and storytelling, using imaginative tools to support communication, creativity, and expression. She has delivered lectures and practical workshops across top London drama schools, universities, and in regional theatre. She also works in the largest gender identity clinic in the country as a gender affirming voice coach.

Her teaching style is playful, supportive and exploratory. She has a strong belief in collaborative working to help individuals build confidence and meet their vocal goals within a safe environment.

“Having had the privilege to be in many of Robyn’s voice classes I can say it has been very rewarding and helped me
progress very far in short amount of time. Her passion for teaching and helping students is evident in every
interaction, making even the most challenging topics understandable, relatable and engaging, especially for someone
who is dyslexic and struggled to grasp some concepts.”
